Required Qualifications & Skills
2.0 – 3.0 YEAR EXPERIENCE EXPECTED
- Education: Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering or a related field.
- Experience: Previous experience in a technical or engineering role, often with project management experience.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in CAD software and project management tools.
- Technical Planning & Scheduling: Developing detailed project plans, timelines, and work sequences to optimize efficiency.
- Budget & Cost Control: Preparing cost estimates, tracking daily expenses, and managing contractor contracts to prevent budget overruns.
- Team Coordination: Acting as a liaison between designers, on-site workers, suppliers, and clients to ensure smooth information flow.
- Quality Control & Safety: Conducting regular inspections and monitoring compliance with safety codes, industry standards, and QA/QC policies.
- Technical Problem Solving: Reviewing engineering designs, troubleshooting on-site technical issues, and initiating corrective actions.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintaining comprehensive project records (RFIs, submittals, drawings) and providing regular status updates to stakeholders.
- Resource Management: Overseeing the procurement of necessary materials, equipment, and skilled personnel.
